Who we are
We are a privately owned Day Nursery registered with OFSTED for 50 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years.Tiny Robins Day Nursery opened 4th June 2018. We have a highly qualified and caring team including a qualified Children's Nurse/Health Visitor and qualified, highly motivated Early Years Practitioners with many years of experience in childcare and education.
We consult an experienced Early Years Specialist to ensure our provision meets all of your child's needs. Our key person system ensures high quality care and that a strong bond is built with your children from their first session with us, this also ensures emotional security and that individualised care is maintained. At Tiny Robins we are conscious of the fast pace of technology and the importance of protecting our environment. We have therefore introduced a paperless, interactive system called "baby's days"© to track children's progress, development and day to day care. This saves wasting paper and enables parents to access information and pictures of their child's day on their personal phones/computers. At Tiny Robins we use In the moment planning. This individualised teaching and learning approach is child led with teachable moments based around individual child observation and adult interaction. All children achieve next steps and progress in all areas of development, increase skills and experience cultures and religions of the world. |
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)We follow the EYFS framework and our aim is to provide an inclusive, caring, safe, stimulating environment to promote self esteem and confidence in your child. A place where each child's individuality can be valued and nurtured ensuring they meet their full potential.

NutritionWe provide a healthy, balanced and age appropriate diet which will meet your child's individual, medical , cultural, religious and dietary needs.
All food is prepared and cooked freshly on site by our cook and all of our staff have relevant food hygiene and allergen awareness training. All level 3 qualified members of staff are paediatric first aid trained and we have a robust choking prevention policy in place. Our menu differs each week and rotates on a four weekly rota, also rotating a summer and winter menu for variety. At Tiny Robins we encourage children to self serve their meals, learning about portion sizes, trying new foods and independence. This creates positive eating habits. |
